As we move into July, we’d like to take a moment to look back at some of the activities that brought members, guests and the wider community together during June.
From England’s World Cup fixtures and live music with Brightside in the Events Hall to our regular bingo sessions, tabletop gaming and social gatherings, it was another month that demonstrated the variety of activities taking place at Chatteris Working Men’s Club. Thank you to everyone who attended, supported events, shared photographs and helped create a welcoming atmosphere around the club.
What’s Happening in July?
Alongside our regular weekly activities, July promises a busy mix of live sport, community events and fundraising.

FIFA World Cup Coverage
We’ll continue to follow England’s World Cup campaign throughout July. World Cup Coverage includes screenings of:
Should England progress further in the competition, additional fixtures will be shown whenever possible.
Our popular £3 draught beer and cider offer will continue during England matches, available from one hour before kick-off and throughout the live screening.
Important Notice
Please note that the Events Hall will be unavailable on Saturday, July 11th due to a private function. Further details will be displayed in the club and shared through our usual communication channels where appropriate.
Featured Event – Rockin’ for Headway
One of the highlights of the month will be Rockin’ for Headway on Saturday 25th July.
This special fundraising event in support of Headway will feature live music from:
- Jacen Bruce
- Ramshackle Daddies
- The Retro Rebels
- Plus Guests & DJ
Food will also be available on site from Get Wrapped Kitchen.
