There’s plenty happening at Chatteris Working Men’s Club this week, with familiar favourites through the first half of the week before everything builds towards a very busy Saturday.
Sunday 9 August – Cash Bingo
We begin the week with Cash Bingo in the Events Hall, with eyes down at 7pm.
Monday 10 August – Prize Bingo
Monday evening brings Prize Bingo to the Events Hall. Eyes down at 7pm for another evening of bingo at the club.
Tuesday 11 August – Tabletop Games
Tuesday is Tabletop Games Night, with play getting underway in the Events Hall from 6.30pm.
Whether you’re already a regular or simply curious about tabletop gaming, it’s an opportunity to spend an evening enjoying the games and the company that goes with them.
Wednesday 12 August – Cash Bingo
Cash Bingo returns to the Events Hall on Wednesday evening, with eyes down at 7pm.
And then we come to Saturday…
Saturday 15 August – A Grand Day Out
Saturday brings together several of the events we’ve been looking forward to throughout the summer, creating an afternoon and evening with plenty of different reasons to spend some time at CWMC.
The Summer Craft Fair runs in the Events Hall from noon until 4pm, bringing together local makers and sellers with handmade gifts, artwork, food, collectables and plenty more to browse.
Patrick’s Grill will be in the car park from noon until late, serving burgers, hot dogs, bacon rolls, snacks and more throughout the day.
Then from 6pm, the focus moves to the Members’ Lounge for Live in the Lounge with Graham Buxton, bringing live music into the evening.
After Graham’s performance, the Winner Takes All Raffle will be drawn. Tickets are available from the bar at £5 per strip.
There’s no need to do everything. Come along for the part of the week that appeals to you — or, on Saturday, perhaps make a day of it.
