Soul Intention… Music from Memphis to Motown
Soul Intention is a 7-piece sixties soul band based in Somersham, Cambridgeshire, UK. Their line-up consists of a female lead singer, a rhythm section of drums, bass, guitar and keyboards and a saxophone horn section that also provides backing vocals.
Live at Chatteris Working Men’s Club on Saturday, October 15th, on stage from 8:00 pm, playing songs from the 1960s that were recorded on the Stax and Motown labels together with other songs from the same era that have a similar ‘soulful intention’, such as, Son Of A Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield and River Deep, Mountain High by Ike & Tina Turner.
