October has already got off to a cracking start at the Workies.
The Workies Chaos Crew opened the month with their first Quiz Night, and what a start it was. Nine tables, plenty of laughs, a busy raffle, food sold out and a room full of people enjoying themselves. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the night what it was.
But October has only just begun.
Our regular favourites
There’s something happening throughout the week, with our regular activities continuing all month.
Prize Bingo — Mondays at 7pm
Start the week with an evening of bingo and some great prizes.
Tabletop Games — Tuesdays from 6:30pm
Bring a game, discover something new or simply come along and join in.
Cash Bingo — Wednesdays at 7pm & Sundays at 7pm
Two chances every week to settle in, enjoy the atmosphere and play for cash prizes.
Whether you come every week or haven’t been through the doors for a while, you’re welcome to join us.
Something new at the bar
October has brought something new to the Workies too — Hawkstone has arrived in Chatteris.
It made its Workies debut at our Quiz Night and certainly didn’t go unnoticed. If you haven’t tried it yet, there’s plenty of October left to put that right.
And then it gets dark…
October ends rather differently.
On Saturday 31 October, the Chaos Crew takes over the Events Hall for The Workies After Dark — Halloween.
This isn’t intended to be just another Halloween party. Expect music, costumes, atmosphere and a few bits of Chaos Crew mischief along the way.
Tickets are already on sale, including a limited number of £5 Early Bird tickets, followed by £8 Advance tickets and £10 on the door, subject to availability.
If Halloween is your thing, this is the night to circle on the calendar.
And is that everything?
Well… perhaps not.
There may still be one more reason to celebrate before October is finished.
We’re not quite ready to tell you about that one yet.
